ECE/ECE-A
Full time/ Permanent Position
40 hours per week
Monday - Friday
8 hours a day with a 1 hr break
Wage:
ECE-A starting at $17.00/hr
and
ECE starting at $19.00/hr plus $4.00/hour with the ECE Wage Enhancement
Qualifications
-
Licensed Early Childhood Educator or ECE Assistant

Infant Toddler Certification (not required but would be an asset)
-
Class 4 Driver's License (not required but would be an asset)

Valid First Aid

Criminal Record Check
-
1 year work experience
Responsibilities
-
Design and follow a schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material
-
Provide basic care and caregiving activities
-
Demonstrate a culturally sensitive approach when dealing with parents, while still enforcing the guidelines set out by the center
-
Lead open ended experiences with ease and enthusiasm
-
Produce regular documentation of the children's experiences
-
Observe and support children
-
Lead teaching with regard to the Bible
